Office Assistant Job Posting

We have an immediate opening for an Office Assistant who can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment.

Missouri Analytical Laboratories (MAL) is a local, family- owned business located in downtown Saint Louis, Missouri. MAL provides chemistry and microbiology analysis and certification services for pharmaceutical and other companies.

Marcus Research Laboratory (MRL) is a manufacturing company operating under the same ownership and shares the same building.

The Office Assistant position is responsible for office support for both companies.
The qualified candidate will be a team player with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities:

• Enter lab samples received from customers into logbook and custom software.
• Prepare labels for samples to be processed.
• Send Certificates of Analysis and final results data to customers.
• Invoice customers using QuickBooks software.
• Obtain proper support for vendor invoices and credit card purchases.
• Enter vendor invoices and process payments in QuickBooks.
• Maintain customer and vendor files.
• Place orders for office and operating supplies as requested.
• Answer incoming phone calls and greet visitors.
• Arrange paperwork and coordinate domestic and international shipments.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
• QuickBooks experience preferred
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Time management skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks
• Self-motivated

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Commensurate with experience
