We are seeking a Software Engineer to help us continue innovating the technology. Responsibilities

• Work with the product team to manage development projects
• Be a resource to the customer support team for troubleshooting issues
• Design, develop, and test features according to defined requirements and schedules
• Create supporting documentation for internal teams
• Participate in user forums or customer technical discussions

• Be comfortable solving complex problems with few requirements or specifications
• Dive into an existing, large code base and debug, enhance, and refactor as necessary
• Research new solutions and identify how they can fit into the overall solution

Requirements

• 3+ years software development
• Comfortable working in a Linux environment
• Experience using APIs (REST, SOAP, etc)
• Experience with Ruby and other backend server technologies (PHP, Java, .NET, etc)
• Experience with Ruby frameworks like Rack, Sinatra, Resque, etc
• Experience working with authorization/authentication protocols like OAuth/OpenID/JWT
• Experience working with NoSQL storage technologies like Redis and Mongo
• Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes is preferred but not required
• Experience working with Postman is preferred but not required
• Comfortable working directly with clients (providing solutions, resolving issues, etc)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work well with others
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 – $115,000.00 per year
