MEDIKO is looking for a Primary Care Physician (Internal Medicine, Family Practice, or Emergency Medicine) for our Norfolk City Jail. We can help to improve your quality of life with the following benefits:

What We Require:

• Must have and maintain current licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia (MD).
• Must maintain a current DEA registration.
• Board-certified or eligible and be qualified by the Commonwealth of Virginia laws and regulations to practice medicine.
• Experience in family practice, emergency medicine, internal medicine or public health preferred.
• Good physical and mental health.
• Able to relate well to patients, security, co-workers and mostly nursing staff.
• Must obtain and maintain security clearance.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification.
