Seminet Hiring for Electro Engineer Full Time

Experience to design, develop, modify and evaluate electrical circuits, electronic parts, components, or controls/integrated circuitry for hardware and/or other systems.

Responsibilities

• Electrical lead for development improvement of existing products for manufacturability.
• Design electronic module hardware including PCBAs for industrial equipment from conception through production including but not limited to low voltage digital signals.
• Specify system, module and component requirements for any purchased subcomponents and assemblies.
• Verify designs through simulation, bench testing and experimentation.
• Ensure design compliance to industry standards, NFPA, NEC for industrial equipment.
• Contribute to and follow the company product development process by participating in a disciplined process and design reviews through concept, design, verification, commercialization and project closure.
• Develop and execute test plans to validate designs throughout all project stages.
• Obtaining listings and regulatory approvals such as SEMI S2, S8, S14, and CE and others depending on project.
• Develop the documentations during the development and transfer to manufacturing (schematics, diagrams, BOM, test procedures).

Qualifications

• Possess a BS or higher degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5+ years in industrial product electrical design.
• Experience with electrical schematic capture, PCB design, wiring diagrams, parts database structures, BOM structures, and engineering change management.
• Proficient with electronics lab equipment including, multimeters, soldering irons, etc. for troubleshooting and evaluating hardware designs.
• Strong technical skills including low-cost hardware design, critical thinking, problem solving and data analysis.
• Experience in developing UI systems using touch screens and push buttons preferred.
• Ability to work independently.

Salary: $90,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
