Position: Pre-Suit Assistant

Position Summary:

Pre-litigation Assistants will work directly with clients, third parties, providers, and insurance companies. They should be comfortable with computers, and general office tasks, and excel at both verbal and written communication. They are responsible for drafting and filing lawsuits on e-portal. Our caseload is growing and the ideal candidate for this position is organized, professional, responsible, and committed to helping us meet our clients’ needs. Essential Job Functions:

• Perform data entry duties
• File Civil Remedy Notices
• Draft lawsuits
• Maintain and organize electronic case files
• Gather information and documents from clients and other sources
• Handle incoming calls and other communication interactions with clients and third parties
• Perform additional duties as required by Pre-Suit Supervisor

Experience/Requirements:

• Full-time, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, M-F
• The entry-level role, training provided
• Strong customer service skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to manage a heavy workload in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to communicate with clients and co-workers effectively and efficiently
• Possess excellent organization skills and be able to multitask and prioritize workload
• Team-oriented
