The Company

We are a family-run grocery store and purveyor of fine foods. We have been serving the Naples community since 1938, featuring fine gourmet food, including special order cuts of meats and cheeses, fine wine and beverages, our ‘from scratch” fine bakery and a deli that features international delicacies, American classics and Wynn Family favorites from Annie Wynn’s own recipes.

While there have been many changes and advancements in the store, the Wynn family has preserved the core attitudes and principles that their father and grandfather started with. The most important principle providing the best customer service, which has been the primary key to the Wynn Family success.

The Position

Seafood Associate

Full time position with benefits including Health, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance, 401k, paid time off and store discount all with a very competitive hourly pay rate.

Your primary responsibility will be to amaze every customer each time they come in with excellent customer service. You will be assisting our guests with product selection, making recommendations, answering the customers’ questions about our products and also weighing/packaging and pricing product items.

Responsibilities

• Fresh seafood is very perishable so our seafood clerks must have the ability to maintain quality and attention to detail
• Maintain standards for product freshness and sanitation
• Sells products by providing customers with product information, answering questions and making suggestions
• Replenishes, maintains, and rotates products and display cases
• Cutting and preparing seafood for sale
• Operates knives, steamer, scale, and other seafood equipment
• Assists with other tasks as assigned

Qualifications include:

· Minimum 2 years of retail/food service experience; experience working with seafood a plus.

· Ability to read, write and speak English

· Excellent Customer Service Skills

· Able to work flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends and holidays

· Able to pass drug and background checks
