$49,962 – $72,744 / year

What You Will Be Doing:
This position requires expertise with data analysis, investigates suspicious behavior, and communicates new insights to SIU and other departments. Identifies needed data from a variety of sources and programs while fine tuning a fraud detection and analytical platform. Analyzes extensive “big data” to find complex fraud schemes and trends in all geographic areas. Effectively identifies and obtains needed data and information from business intelligence tools and various data sources to build solutions for Special Investigations Unit to help detect, investigate, and reduce insurance fraud.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in fraud investigation and Designation of Certified Insurance Fraud Analyst (CIFA) are preferred
- Superior analytical, investigative, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- A keen eye for detail, accuracy, and strong critical thinking skills with advanced judgment capability.
- Strong data analysis skills that preferably includes experience with MS Excel, MS Access, SAS programming, SQL skills, and business intelligence tools.
- Superior interpersonal skills to effectively function in lead roles, train others on system and procedures, and conduct meetings.
- Ability to manage time effectively, maintain schedules to meet deadlines, and work well within a team environment.
- Extensive multi-tasking and prioritization skills to excel in fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities.
- Business knowledge in insurance, claims, and other business processes for enhancing analysis.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
