UGI Utilities, Inc Hiring for Operations Representative I (Administrative) Full Time

Job Summary

To complete assigned operations and systems work, primarily involving day to day clerical functions with the use of the information technology systems of the main frame and personal computer, to support the Operations Department in the completion of its duties and in utilizing budgeted and allocated resources in an effective, efficient, and professional manner.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide Clerical support for all areas of the Reading operations groups (C&M, Utility, M&R) and provide back up support to area Meter Reading/collections). Provide daily support of audits, DOJM, R2, and CAD. Assist Supervisors as it relates to daily field support in all UGI applications as they relate to Operations. Provide a chain of communication between supervisors, customers, field employees, dispatch, contractors, marketing, call center, and outside vendors/departments. Maintain and update SharePoint spreadsheets regarding working projects. Maintain, retain, and review returned paperwork from field. Provide support to all contractors i.e.: paving, services, mains etc.
• Process Permits, investigate, update, verify, and correct service records under the direction of C&M supervision. Provide clerical field support to all operations departments: Utility, M&R, C&M (creating work orders, relaying work supply requests, giving record directions, communicating with customers, scheduling with customers future work, send customer contact documents and retain all paperwork etc.)
• Process DEMOs, PA one calls, process daily work orders for field notify employees, work Z-mails, pull keys for access.
• Provide daily entry of Operations time sheets, and all paperwork returned from the field that needs logging, tracking, or data entry (odorant entry, records, time sheets, etc.)
• Provide support when other clerical B1’s are out of the office, help maintain deadlines, and complete special projects as need.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Working with and understanding UGI policies and procedures.
• Full knowledge of SAP and R2 operating system.
• CAD and Mobile UP, DOJM, Webtop/Documentum, Map frame, Oracle, BOBJ, Crystal Designer, Discoverer Plus, SharePoint.
• Applicable PC hardware and software.
• Excellent communications skills, both written and oral are essential. Interpersonal skills are required.
• The ability to work in a conceptual fashion to develop viable data and information alternative for area management.

Education and Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Work-related experience with SAP, PC systems, and contractor operations knowledge.
