JOB TITLE: Product Engineer

DEPARTMENT: Engineering

JOB DESCRIPTION:

A: Purpose and Scope

A Product Engineer is responsible for developing new and existing programs within Coretech’s extensive customer base.

B. Responsibilities

Improving overall processes and related issues including process development, scheduling, creating process documentation, product production processing, problem solving, and program management. Instrumental in obtaining quotes for design of new tooling and rework of existing tooling through the interaction with the tooling supplier.

Other duties include the design, installation, and debug of tooling and capital equipment.

The Product Engineer is also responsible for following quality systems procedures, as required.

C. Organization Relationships

The Product Engineer s directly to the Engineering Manager.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

A. Education and Training

Manufacturing engineers must have a four-year engineering degree or equivalent, preferably in a field related to Core-Tech Inc. production processing needs. Prior experience within Investment Casting industry is strongly desired but will train the right individual that has a minimum of 2-3 years experience in an unrelated field.

B. Technical Requirements

Four-year college degree in a technical field. Experience in product/process development in similar products as manufactured by Core-Tech Inc. is preferred.

C. Managerial Experience: No prior managerial experience is necessary, but supervisory experience is preferred.
