A-Game Studios Hiring for Junior 2D Artist Full Time

A-Game Studios is looking for a versatile junior artist to add 2D content and UI / UX polish to our debut title, and help with the prototyping of our follow-up game. We are looking for someone who can emulate the stylized retro, 80’s sci-fi look established by our art director and contribute original characters and creatures bursting with personality. We are looking for someone who is passionate about the art and craft of game design, and who appreciates the opportunities for inventiveness, creativity and exploration that are only possible in the indie space. This person is disciplined, self-motivated, comfortable and productive in a full-time remote work environment. REQUIREMENTS:

• online portfolio
• 3+ years game development experience
• Post-secondary degree
• Willing to work remotely
• 2D and 3D game tool fundamentals
• Strong drawing, painting and design skills
• Familiarity with Unity UX / UI tools + workflow

• Spine animation tool experience
• Live in Ontario for Tax Credit purposes
• Love roguelikes / arcade games / colony sims
