Keystone Structural Group Hiring for Civil Design Engineer Full Time

Keystone Structural Group, Inc. (KSG) is a Scranton, PA based structural and civil engineering firm that is growing and seeking a candidate to fill a Civil Design Engineer position.

This person will work closely with our Civil Engineering Department manager and will be responsible for supporting the production of civil engineering construction documents including design, plans, notes, s, and details. The candidate will be required to develop full sets of construction drawings in either AutoCAD and Civil 3D. This individual should have a strong background in drawing production using both programs. . This person should possess strong communication and coordination skills, and should be self-motivated and detail oriented, with an initiative to deliver high quality, technically excellent civil engineering drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Completion of engineering design assignments and management of projects of various scope and complexity
• Perform design tasks, such as conceptual site layouts, parking plans, E&S plans, grading plans, and drainage plans for civil engineering projects.
• Preparing s and submissions for local and state agencies.
• Work within AutoCAD and Civil 3D software
• Assist office team with successful completion of projects within established budgets and deadlines
• Use of a variety of standard engineering methods and techniques to solve problems
• Will be responsible for producing design, drawings, s and calculations
• Travel to job sites and field review of civil related construction
• Application of design software for civil design in conjunction with senior Engineers
• Client interfacing, as required

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• EIT certification required progressing toward PE license.
• Minimum of 2 to 8 years career experience.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
• Must be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
• Self-motivating and ability to multi-task
• Ability to act with business integrity and professionalism’
• Applicant must be able to commute to our Scranton, PA location.
