The Hana Hou Restaurant Hiring for Grill/Line Cook Full Time

The Hana Hou is looking for experienced and motivated line cooks. Candidates should be skilled multitaskers who adhere to food safety codes. We also value grill cooks that are creative and are capable of designing dishes to add to our menu. We may be able to help with housing as part of a candidate’s compensation.

Grill Cook Responsibilities:

Slicing, cutting, and shredding meat and vegetables.

Consistently complies with our standards concerning portion sizes, cooking methods, and quality standards.

Braising and grilling meat and vegetables.

Checking that ingredients remain fresh and safe for consumption.

Maintaining food safety standards to avoid cross-contamination.

Maintains and stocks sufficient levels of food products to maintain smooth service.

Properly handles, stores, and rotates all products.

Preparing meals in accordance with customer and restaurant preferences and standards.

Working with waitstaff once orders are finalized.

Maintaining a clean and orderly workstation at all times.

Performing all cleaning duties before, during, and after the restaurant closes.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour
