Under the general direction of the Radiologist and/or Radiology Director/Manager/Team Lead, the technologist will:

• Safely perform radio graphic and fluoroscopic procedures, including procedures in surgery and portable exams.
• Participate in performance improvement and quality control.
• Work within the guidelines established in the policies and procedures manuals.
• Comply with all radiation safety procedures.
• Work in accordance with the JCAHO, state and other regulatory or accreditation agencies.
• Perform a variety of tasks to comply with the record keeping required by regulatory or accrediting agencies.
• Provide care for patients in all age groups and degrees of acuity.
• Consistently complete all required documentation in Meditech and PACS.
• Have strong interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication
• Be flexible and self-motivated, a team builder and team player.
• Be able to interact with patients, physicians and customers in a pleasant, positive and courteous manner.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Registry in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Current Kansas License or must obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum of one (1) year of work-related experience in Diagnostic Radiography preferred.
• New graduates will be considered.
