Job Summary

Fox Marble & Granite, Inc. is locating in Richmond, CA. This position is on-site and primarily supports our Fox Marble sales process with regards to slab and tile bids. The Sr Estimator is responsible for compiling accurate cost calculations to determine how much it will cost the Company to complete a project or provide products and services to our clients.

Job Requirements

• Stone Industry Experience – A MUST!

• Working knowledge of MS Office applications, AutoCAD, and scheduling software is required.
• QuickBooks
• A reliable work ethic, honest and on time.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Bachelor’s degree a plus.

Job Functions

• Researching the cost of items such as materials, transport, labor, and equipment.
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with contractors and vendors.
• Getting quotes from suppliers and contractors within a specified time frame.
• Assessing the risk levels associated with a project.
• Preparing and submitting quotations and details of costs for work to be done.
• Slab and tile bids for new contracts and supporting the activities of buyers.
• Monitoring the costs at the different stages of a project to ensure it stays within the estimated costs.
• Responsible for bringing in material on time prior production.
• Always seek ways for improvement.

• Candidates may exert over 25 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.

• May include reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required to pack or store materials throughout the workday.
• Proper lifting techniques required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
