Job Summary:
The Wholesale Account Manager prospects and secures new business while managing and providing outstanding customer service to existing accounts to ensure account renewals. Customer Service is the #1 priority with all new and existing customers.
Specific Responsibilities:
1. Conduct sales prospecting with required follow-up to secure new business.
2. Work closely with existing customers, vendors, and contractors for new customer referrals.
3. Utilize prospect and customers lists to acquire new business.
4. Secure and submit all credit documents for new business opportunities.
5. Demonstrate complete understanding of Dealer Supply and Security Agreements.
6. Oversee the branding process and equipment upgrades for new customers.
7. Work closely with marketing to create customized sales presentations and marketing plans for prospects.
8. Advise customers and prospects on evolving technology changes and upgrades.
9. Ensure all required paperwork is submitted to the supplier for final site approval.
10. Work closely with marketing to implement brand programs, promotions, and advertising.
11. Understand and explain administrative areas to all new customers.
12. Visit existing customers as necessary to address complaints, concerns, credit card issues, pricing issues, and general customer service items.
13. Provide support to lessee dealers operating company owned “Dealer” properties.
14. Network with industry organizations such as NECSEMA, NESSARA, NACS, SIGMA, and others.
15. Knowledge of industry vendors programs such as Patriot Capital, J Polep, Gilbarco, …
16. Attend Supplier & Industry meetings, events, and outings.
17. Communicate with Suppliers reps and territory managers
18. Provide monthly activity and accountability s to management as required.
