Three Points Center Hiring for History Teacher – Secondary Edcuation Full Time

Three Points Academy, a secondary school serving girls, between the ages of 12-17, in a residential treatment center, in Siler City, North Carolina has openings for a History teacher. Our center is unique in that it serves only adopted youth who are struggling with emotional challenges. We are looking for a teacher who is compassionate but firm, creative and playful, with excellent classroom management skills. Instruction is face-to-face, in small groups, and may include online blended components if desired. Come join our great teaching team at TPA!

Qualifications:

Secondary teacher certification with History endorsement and teaching experience. An Exceptional Child license or multiple endorsements would be preferred. Please send your resume including three references and be prepared to present two letters of recommendation.

Compensation and Benefits:

Full-time— 8 hours per day, 229 days per year, salary of $50-60,000, depending on experience and education, paid holidays, vacation time accruing after 90 days, available health insurance and 401K benefits.
