Bernatello’s Pizza, Inc Hiring for Event Logistics Coordinator Full Time

Job Summary
The purpose of this position is to cost effectively drive brand awareness through events (with and without the use of event trailers) as well as assist the Event and Sponsorship Manager with corporate sponsorships and other business partnerships. The Special Events Coordinator is responsible for the transportation of a 20’ branded event trailer which is frequently used on nights and weekends during the summer months throughout the Midwest. The Special Events Manager is responsible for managing and executing local marketing efforts which include but are not limited to events such as festivals, retail stores, sporting venues, expos.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Event Management

• Executes and manages all events while staying within proposed budget.
• Establishes and directs event schedules, timelines and priorities.
• Administers participation in events based on established objectives.
• Coordinates all detail for the setup of events in coordination with Event and Sponsorship Manager.
• Event trailer and route truck transportation, power needs, product inventory, trailers stocked w/ appropriate supplies, proper handling of cash, post event , etc.

• Evaluates the success of current events and develops a course of action for future events.
• Develops positive relationships with key event contacts.
• Ensures compliance with insurance, legal, health and safety obligation.
• Maintains event data and billing information, tracking key information for ing purposes.

2. Event Truck/Trailer

• Ensures regular maintenance schedule of event trailers, trucks and equipment are followed.
• Transportation of 20’ event trailers and/or Class B freezer truck with stored event product.
• Manages event trailers; ensuring event compliance at all events Bernatello’s Pizza Inc attends.
• Assists sales team with routes, transportation, etc. when needed during event off-season.
• Keeps detailed DOT log information for ing purposes.

3. Other

• Trains and manages seasonal Event Sales Specialists in coordination with Event and Sponsorship Manager.
• Assists in the recruitment, training and supervising of event staff.
• Collaborates with marketing and communications to promote and publicize events.
• Maintains positive working relationships with co-workers, businesses, volunteers, and sponsors.
• Performs other incidental and related duties as needed or assigned.

Education
Preferred

• Associates or better in Marketing
• Bachelors or better in Advertising or related field
