As a Histotechnologist (HTL) SR with CHI you will responsible for performing complex histological clinical laboratory procedures on patient specimens under the direction of Medical Director and Director of Laboratory Services. Must also act as a team leader by assisting and guiding Histotechnicians in decision-making, and by taking on other areas of responsibility. Acts as supervisor of the section in the absence of the supervisor and/or assistant supervisor. Accurately processes, analyzes and s all tests ordered in a timely manner to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Performs calibration of equipment, and documentation of findings. Responsible for organizing work load as assigned. Displays professional, safe conduct in all interactions.
