Propel Counseling Group, LLC Hiring for School-Based Mental Health Program Coordinator Full Time

In search of an experienced and motivated individual to manage a school-based mental health program and supervise bachelor’s level staff providing mental health interventions primarily within a school setting of Dickenson County, Virginia.

We are looking for a clinically motivated individual who know the difference between a solid mental health intervention and just shooting the breeze with clients. This position will oversee a brand new school-based mental health program in Dickenson County, Virginia and will include supervision of staff as well as coordination with school faculty and administration. There will be direct client contact as well as crisis support alongside staff and faculty. Some administrative duties also are expected. We welcome fresh ideas and input on program structure will be expected.

A Bachelor’s degree is required with Master’s degree (or in progress) preferred. Individuals under supervision for licensure within the state of Virginia will also be considered. Must be able to register in the state of Virginia as a QMHP. Must be in good standing with references of past clinical and supervision experience available.

We utilize SimplePractice management system making documentation completely digital and easily completed during sessions and within a normal workday.

We offer free licensure supervision to Residents in Counseling within the state of Virginia. We also offer, on a limited basis, paid internships to highly motivated individuals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year
