Thames Valley Police Hiring for Uniform Assistant Full Time

In this exciting role you will be working under the direction of the Stores Manager and Team Leader to provide a comprehensive service in supplying uniform and equipment to all members of TVP & 3rd parties in accordance with current legislation, policy and procedures. The role will involve having an expert knowledge of products and, to be able to provide advice on the items best suited and the size and fit of garments to meet the needs of officers and staff.
The successful candidate will be customer focused with previous relevant experience in a customer services environment. Able to communicate verbally and writing to customers, suppliers and other team members. You must have the ability to work on own initiative and under pressure and in a flexible and responsive way individually or as part of a team. The ability to undertake minor sewing repairs is also required.
