ArchitectNow is looking to expand our team with the addition of a full time Account Manager. This role is a sales and communication role focused on collaborating with ArchitectNow’s management and technical experts in growing our organization both with new business and sales as well as expanding our footprint in existing accounts. No software development experience is required and all technical sales support will be provided.
About this Role
A successful candidate for this role will be an excellent communicator who is eager to work in a high-tech, fast paced environment. No prior technical skills (software development or otherwise) are required other than the eagerness to understand the processes we use to deliver very technical solutions. This role is remote (work from home) but candidates must reside in the St. Louis area. Our company headquarters and many of our customers are in this area and the occasional meetings, networking events, user groups, and other in-person events will be required. Periodic travel outside of St. Louis may be required for such things as conferences or meetings with key customers but this will be rare. Many of our other team members do live outside the St. Louis area and work fully remote. Working efficiently and collaborating effectively (with both fellow team members and customers) when fully remote without supervision will be a key skill for being successful in this role. A successful candidate will also understand the value of maintaining a great customer relationship helping them improve their business by utilizing our services. This role will require heavy use of various collaboration tools such as Office 365, Microsoft Teams, Dynamics 365, Linked In Sales Navigator, and other tools for working efficiently through our sales and collaboration process. Prior experience or an eagerness to learn these platforms (with provided training) will be key.
Day to day responsibilities for this role will include working with management and key employees on a multitude of sales opportunities, proposals, and customer meetings. Written communication skills will be key for things such as emails and assisting with the development proposals and RFP responses. As we continue to grow and expand, this candidate will also help with researching and identifying potential new customers or industries. ArchitectNow is heavily involved in the local and regional technology community as sponsors and organizers of various events and conferences. We also participate in a large number of networking and other events in the region. An individual successful in this role will be expected to attend events such as this as a way to grow their network and identify opportunities. Professionalism and ability to participate in remote meetings (primarily via Microsoft Teams) as well as in person events will be key as well.
This is a full time position based in St. Louis, MO. Compensation for this role will be a competitive salary, full benefits, and a bonus plan based on company and individual metrics. Training and mentoring will be provided.

Some of these solutions are as simple as a few days (or weeks) of technical mentoring and guidance to existing software development teams. Other solutions we provide include the utilization of a full ArchitectNow technology team designing and delivering a customized software platform over the course of many months or years. We frequently leverage technologies and architectures that are similar between customers but the specific implementations and business problems we are solving are typically very different between two projects. We do not focus 100% on a specific industry and have a very broad customer base to whom we serve as their trusted technology partner.
In addition to providing technical expertise and customer technology solutions, we are also a Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider and provide our customers with licenses and hosting using platforms such as Microsoft’s Azure Cloud platform, Office 365, and Dynamics 365. An Account Manager at ArchitectNow will be expected to have an understanding of these platforms and recognize opportunities within customers where we may be able to leverage them or provide value.
