Smithville Communications Hiring for APPLICATIONS ADMINISTRATOR Full Time

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Under the general direction of the Information Systems Director, the Applications Administrator will deliver application support and troubleshooting, create s and queries, and ensure daily processes operate effectively. Additionally, the role focuses on billing processes and addresses maintenance issues.

This individual plays a crucial role in the maintenance and operation of the company’s network and application systems to ensure they are functioning efficiently and properly. The Applications Administrator is responsible for creating s and data maintenance using critical business applications, including iVUE, CrowdFiber, and IBEX. This person will utilize their knowledge and experience to assist other team members in making decisions about our critical applications. When new job order requests and issues arise, this individual must be able to effectively complete the added items while simultaneously managing current job orders.

Responsibilities

• Application Support/Troubleshooting – iVUE and Click Applications (30%)
• s and Queries (25%)
• Daily processes – Toll, 911, Batch Payments (15%)
• Billing processes (10%)
• Access Maintenance (10%)
• Other Duties as Assigned (10%)

Typical Working Conditions

• Work is almost always completed indoors in a quiet/low noise, climate-controlled office environment
• Typical work hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm; may work overtime, evenings, and weekends as needed to meet critical deadlines or respond to problems

WHAT YOU NEED

• Associate degree in a computer-related field
• Proficient computer skills, including proven skills using Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficient with Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) – Microsoft Office Excel
• Knowledge of relational databases
• Proficient with SAP Crystal s
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Problem-solving and interpersonal skills
• Good project management skills; ability to work to deadlines
• Methodical and analytical approach
• Expected to learn on the job within 12 months – iVUE and associated applications, Jitterbit IaaS (basic)
