Position: International Import-Export Assistant
Location: Montreal East

Do you have experience in international import / export? Are you looking for a hybrid role in Montreal East? Do you have strong communication skills in English? Do you have strong skills in Excel?

Our client, a company in the food industry, is looking for an International Import-Export Assistant!

What they offer:

– Salary up to $60K per year
– Employer-paid group insurance
– 6% pension fund
– 3 weeks of basic vacation, and recognition of previous years in a similar position for seniority calculation
– Opportunity to travel to Europe and the US 3 to 4 times a year if candidate wants

Your profile:

– 2 years of experience in logistic and or import/export
– Excellent communication level in English
– Excellent skills in Excel and Microsoft suite, Internet
– Quick learner with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain focus, and adapt to a variety of challenges
– Ability to work in a time-constrained environment
– Knowledge of the supply chain and different kinds of transportation

Your role:

– Help and provide guidelines to different business units in regards of international customs rules for import-export
– Build guideline toll if needed
– Prepare and review Free Trade like CUSMA for the company and some other business units in North America including the annual review
– Answer Customs Brokers on different topics
– Follow up the global agreement halal certification: certificates and invoicing
– Execute other related tasks
