Welders
1. Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as gas tungsten arc (TIG), gas metal arc (MIG), flux-cored arc (FAW), plasma arc (PAW), shielded metal arc (SMAW), oxy-acetylene (OAW), resistance welding and submerged arc welding (SAW)
2. Assist with non-production welding needs in the plant as needed.
3. Perform other duties as assigned.

Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications of tools, dies, prototypes or models
Read and understand blueprints.

Maintain required work quality and output at all workstations and/or assembly lines.
Perform work in accordance with established ITAF16949 / ISO14001 requirements.
Required Skills, Education, and Experience (As Applicable)
· Skilled Trade Techs usually must have some secondary school. This includes but is not limited to the following:
1. Vocational Schools
2. Apprenticeship programs training
3. College Courses
· Generally welders in the skilled trade classification must have the proper certification or documented approval for their jobs.
· An interest in working with metals and other industrial materials
· Ability to work to exact specifications
· Good mathematical and measurement skills
· Demonstrated skill and ability to use precision measuring equipment including but not limited to: Gages, Calipers, Micrometers, and tape measures / scales.
· Ability to read sketches, blueprints and specifications
· Mechanical ability
· Patience, creativity and ability to logically solve problems
· Good manual dexterity, eyesight and hand-eye coordination
· Physical stamina to stand for long periods
· Ability to work independently,
· Ability to focus on a project to completion,
· Knowledge of Imperial’s safety rules and practices
· Responsible work attitude
· Confined space training
