Farm & Fields Hiring for Social Media Assistant Full Time

Busy, established, yet still growing event design company, Farm & Fields, located in Sperryville is looking for an energectic and creative Associate Designer to become part of our team for the 2023 events season and beyond.

About Us: Farm & Fields established in 2020 is a floral and event design company based in Sperryville, Virginia. We offer floral and event design services, and rentals in the Northern Virginia, DC, and Southern Maryland. The ideal candidate will work with our team at the studio, with our designers, and our Social Media manager.

The individual that we’re looking for will be energetic, creative, fashion forward, current on trends, get along well with others, and comfortable working in cross-capacities.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging text, image and video content by maintaing weekly social media accounts with oversight by Social Media Manager | Senior Designers. Instagram, Tik-Tok, Pinterest.
• Research audience preferences and discover current trends.
• Submit content to our Social Media Manager – Wedding Galleries, and Photo Shoots.
• Submit to Industry Publications including the copy and photographs when needed.
• on online reviews and feedback from clients.

Requirements

• Excellent computer skills with knowledge of Canva, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe.
• Excellent command of the English language: grammar, punctuation. Writing sample will be requested.
• Ability to write creative content. Writing sample will be requested.
• Professional experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Must have own transportation.
• Live in surrounding counties of Rappahannock, Spotsylvania, Madison, Greene or southern Fauquier.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Able to lift 25 pounds.

Would Like

• Any experience with floral design is a bonus.
• Previous experience in design| events | hospitality industry.
• Must be comfortable with large dogs.
• Likes the outdoors, yet comfortable in the city.

Job Type: Part-time| Full – Time

Pay: Salary – Range beginning at $28K
