Responsibilities

• Participates in technical requirements meetings to understand gaps.
• Identifies new and ongoing research and development efforts or potential solutions within DOD or industry. Is aware of and adheres to organization policies and programs when making suggestions for improvements.
• Maintains communication with stakeholders and external customers and markets existing products, services, and capabilities available from the customer and the Agile Solutions Pursuit Program (ASP2).
• Participates in vendor technology demonstrations and provides Executive Summaries (EXSUMs) to leadership.
• Displays expert and innovative use of scientific concepts and cyber-related principles, and practices and contributes to advanced methods and techniques.
• Provides technical insight for addressing problems that are difficult to define, require unconventional or novel approaches, and require sophisticated analytical techniques.
• Has acquired outstanding knowledge and competence in one or more specific technical and/or operational areas.
• Undertakes routine program/administrative functions and resolves more complex program issues through applying established practices and procedures and conducting research and analysis.
• Remains abreast of program/project changes or changes in the cyber and IT field and recommends best practices for introduction into current efforts when applicable.
• Communicates with all levels of personnel within the command and those affiliated with universities, industry, and scholars.
• Establishes and maintains external collaborations with industry, DoD Organizations, Federal Labs and academia, active in various technologies, specifically cyber concentrations.
• Engages in scientific technology meetings, facilitates scientific and data exchanges. Maintains communication with customers and markets existing products, services, and company capabilities. May participate in special projects, research, technology demonstrations, assessments or piloting new technologies.

Requirements

• Must have an active TS/SCI Clearance w/ability to attain CI Poly and able to pass a Counterintelligence Polygraph and MADO requirements essential for access to ARCYBER HQ/Fortitude Hall
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• MA or MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other closely related discipline, with at least 10 years’ experience in management of projects OR BA/BS with at least 12 years’ experience in management of projects
• Knowledge of computer languages such as C++, Basic.Net, Java, and HTML is very important. Operating systems (e.g. Mac OS X, Novell Netware, Windows and Linux) and application servers
