Accountabilities
Act as the owner of Enterprise Integrations hosted on the Integration Platform as a Service (IPaaS) associated with enterprise core SaaS platforms such as Microsoft 365, Workday, Anaplan, ServiceNow, SalesForce, and major Cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP, and AWS.
Be a Data & Technology’s expert on HR’s implementation of Workday and its integration framework, object-oriented data model and approaches to integrations (API, Connector, EIB and Studio).
Be a Data & Technology’s expert on Corporate Finance’s Anaplan implementation and its integration framework (Anaplan Connect), business object model and approaches to integrations.
Prepare and publish high-level and detailed Integration Services Designs for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Work closely with key technology and business stakeholders, Business Systems Analysts, Architects, and Technical Leads to understand business requirements and produce solution design by evaluating existing systems to determine integration requirements that meet approved architecture patterns, standards, and strategic objectives.
Work with Scrum Masters and/or Project Managers to identify dependencies on shared services, estimate solution timelines, author implementation plans, and obtain approvals aligned with Architectural Review, Integration Governance Framework, and Design Governance.
Develop, unit/regression test, and deploy workloads integrating Cloud platforms, SaaS applications, legacy ERP systems and enterprise applications across OMERS-Oxford units/departments
Develop and maintain data pipelines and mass ingestion processes for data integration within Enterprise IPaaS platform.
Design Open API Specifications (both 3.0 and 2.0) for API integration and develop APIs to access different backend system and cloud environment.
Implement approved authentication methodologies (OAuth2, SAML, etc.) for integration.
Solid conceptual and applied understanding of Event-Driven and real time streaming and corresponding cloud-native technologies such as Pub/Sub and Event Streaming.
Solid conceptual and applied understanding of ancillary services used within integration such as Secure Managed File Transfer, Data Quality, and Message Queues.
Support change management, monitoring and logging, troubleshooting, bug fixes and incident resolution, performance tuning, code and web API scanning, and general ops for IPaaS workloads and platform components.
To succeed in this role, you have:
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Math
Minimum 5 years of multi-system, enterprise critical Integration design and development
Minimum 3 years API development experience
Minimum 3 years implementation experience with Public Cloud platforms
Any experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services or other IPaaS (Integration Platform as a Service) software and Google Apigee or other API Management Software
Any experience with Workday or SaaS HCM Products is a nice to have
Any experience with Finance ERP or FP&A Products is a nice to have
Knowledge of Workday app data model and integration capability (Workday APIs, Studio, EIB, Document Transformation, Workday Connector including PECI, WECI, CCW, CCB, BIRT) is preferred
Project experience in a technical or techno-functional role on one or more modern ERP implementations
Experience with enterprise programming (Java, .Net languages) and scripting (Python, NodeJS).
Possess in-depth understanding of RDBMS and NoSQL and ETL/ELT strategies for working with structured and unstructured data such as JSON, Parquet, and analytical model file formats
Strong knowledge of web services and API development with hands-on experience for both SOAP and REST services
Experience developing API proxies with Google Apigee is an asset
Experience developing integration with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services is highly desired
Experience developing SMFT integrations is highly desired
Experience with Event-Driven technologies is an asset
Solid understanding of security and data privacy standards, data governance and integration/development standards and best practices
Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills
Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
The ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
A desire to keep current with latest trends in technology
High self-motivation and can take initiative
Experience with Agile development methodology
Excellent knowledge of architectural design patterns
Hands-on experience building large distributed systems
Excellent understanding of solution development lifecycle concepts
Good knowledge of IaaS, PaaS and SaaS concepts
