Bank of Queensland Hiring for Management Accountant Job at Brisbane Full Time

The opportunity of Management Accountant will see the successful candidate providing finance business partnering support to the BOQ Finance business, supporting the delivery of key finance initiatives.

• Transformation of financial data into meaningful insights and analysis across the full suite of P&L, B/S and capital drivers.
• Working with the Finance Business Partner BOQF to assess and drive key strategic decisions for the business including areas such as cost management, pricing, balance growth initiatives, and operating model changes.
• Delivery of the month end close process for BOQF and working closely with the broader Finance team to ensure month end processes are executed in an accurate and timely manner.
• Working with business and HR representatives to determine and execute payment of quarterly banker sales incentives.
• Prepare and own monthly industry data submissions and external customer reporting.
• Production of monthly management information including the delivery of key business insights.
• Partnering with the broader Product, Pricing and Finance teams to deliver timely and accurate B/S and P&L forecasts, including detailed understanding of key drivers.
• Ensure BOQF adherence to all BOQ accounting policy requirements

About you

As the successful candidate in this role, you will bring commercial experience working in financial services (at least 1-2 years).
