About the role:
Working from our Melbourne or Auckland office, you’ll be responsible for effective incident management, implementation services and the maintenance of systems hardware and software, and related network infrastructure.
This role is generalist in nature and will deliver Level 1 and Level 2 support services across the Restaurant environment and our Central Support office. You’ll be there to resolve technical problems through remote desktop software, email and telephone conversations and occasionally heading to the venues to get hands-on onsite.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide Level 1 & level 2 IT support for Restaurants and support Central Support.
- Work with Nando’s IT partners and vendors to ensure stability and availability of IT systems.
- Perform updates and modifications on Restaurant Systems and in our digital platform.
- Monitor IT networks to ensure security and availability to users.
- Plan, manage and implement IT related operational small to medium projects.
- Manage our systems throughout lifecycle (provisioning, maintenance, decommissioning).
- Maintain upkeep of Central Support IT hardware.
- Provide recommendations for support process improvements and efficiency.
Who we are looking for:
- 1-3 years’ experience in working in a Service Desk environment providing remote support services.
- Customer service mindset, a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers always.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Driven to continually improve, monitor, and improve IT processes with the aim of making them as effective and efficient as possible.
- Ability to document and adhere to processes, creating a reliable, repeatable performance.
- Ability to plan and prioritize, understand what is important and how we’ll get there.
- Outcome oriented, help Nando’s achieve its purpose through technology.
