Kendal at Ithaca Hiring for Human Resources Generalist Job at Ithaca, NY Full Time

Kendal at Ithaca is seeking team-oriented and experienced person for a Human Resourses (HR) Generalist role. Typical schedule of Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional changes to meet organizational needs.

Key Functions

• Recruiting and onboarding of new employees, educating newly hired employees on internal procedures and regulations
• Administration of employee benefits to include disability, workmans compensation, medical, dental and vision insurance
• Collaborating with outside vendors to address safety and return to work issues and maintaining of OSHA log
• Assisting with bi-weekly payroll processing as it relates to benefits
• General assistance with all Human Resource functions

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Human Resources of similar area of study
• SPHR or PHR prefered but not required
• Experience involving employee benefits, recruitment, and onboarding, 3 years prefered
• Soft Skills should include high energy, attention to detail, strong organizational skills and computer proficiency.
