Culinary Institute LeNotre Hiring for Culinary Arts Chef Instructor Job at Houston, TX Full Time

We are currently seeking an experienced culinary professional to teach the fundamental techniques of French Gourmet Cuisine to students in our Associate Degree and Diploma programs at Culinary Institute Lenotre.

• Must have at least an Associate Degree related to the field and a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Head Chef, Executive Chef, or Chef Instructor.
• Knowledge of French Classical Cuisine is preferred.
• Experience teaching is a big plus. Those without teaching experience will have to be able to complete the required online training on their own time.
• TEACHING 4 DAYS A WEEK: Monday – Thursday for 9 ½ hours a day, in 2 shifts of 4 ¾ hours each. (CIL cannot guarantee these shifts will be consecutive as we have three classes/shifts per day; morning, afternoon, and evening.)
• Flexibility required to work school events (Graduations, student make-up days) on Fridays and Saturdays when needed.

Practical testing of the candidate’s techniques, skills, and presentation will be a part of the selection process.
