An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Insurance Recruiter to join our growing Talent Acquisition team.
You will be responsible for delivering a proactive recruiting service within a specialist area, by managing key recruitment activities through the full life cycle of the hiring process.
For this role, we would be particularly keen to hear from candidates with experience in international Finance recruitment.
Your Role:
- Actively source and develop direct Talent Pipelines in the specialist area.
- Implement strategies and actions ensuring the continued flow of qualified, diverse talent.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with hiring managers, agencies, and other
- HR team members and be their trusted adviser on all recruitment related matters
- Provide consultative service and make strategic recommendations back to your business leads around areas such as the employment market, salary expectations and current, relevant, industry trends and market intelligence
- Be engaged in creating a Talent Acquisition environment that looks at quality improvement and helps implement best practices
- Positively engage and promote Inclusion and Diversity (I&D) through the recruitment process and be an advocate and champion of our I&D strategy, coaching stakeholders to understand, interpret and engage with this where appropriate
- Work with learning and development to develop appropriate selection methods for key roles and provide advice on using selection tools, such as ability and psychometric tests to inform better hiring decisions!
- Consult and support hiring managers to manage the end to end candidate experience effectively and put in place strategies and initiatives to ensure touch points in the hiring process deliver an exceptional candidate experience.
- Work with the Management Information (MI) Manager to set up effective recruitment reporting and use data to inform recruitment decisions
Your Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
- Full-cycle recruiting experience gained in an agency, RPO or an in-house environment
- Experienced in sourcing talent across variety of business functions with a focus on finance recruitment
- Outstanding Direct Sourcing skills and experience through a number of attraction channels
- Demonstrable ability to collaborate with people at all levels, excellent interpersonal skills to interact with and guide clients, senior management, and vendors
- A strategic and tactical approach to hiring with exceptional attention to detail and communication skills
- Knowledge of the UK Insurance market is preferred
- International recruitment experience would be preferred
- Eligible to work in the UK
