MORE DETAILS ON THE ROLE:

The Teacher is responsible for teaching students the academic and social skills in a private educational system alongside Teacher II. The teacher will work directly with therapists, teachers, teacher assistant – youth care specialists, adjunctive therapists and other members of the treatment team.

Great Circle Academy – Cameron

• Ages 5–21 years old
• Students with special education eligibility, severe emotional or behavioral issues, health impairments, learning disabilities, or an autism spectrum diagnosis
• High school students recovering from substance use

WORK SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION:

Monday-Friday
7:00AM to 3:00PM – NO After school hours required

This is a salaried position; the range is between 36k-57k annually. Dependent on education, license and certifications.

Our Teacher’s follows a traditional public-school calendar and offers an abundance of scheduled, paid time off. In addition to school breaks, holidays, and snow days throughout the school year.

YOU’LL BE A GOOD FIT IF..

You’re skilled in crisis intervention and decision-making. Have self-awareness, patience, and the ability to work as part of a team. These skills are essential to be successful in this role.

IMPORTANT QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have 60 College Credits AND Missouri Department of Education Substitute Certification
Experience in behavioral health
Skilled in conflict resolution and de-escalation tactics

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36,000.00 – $57,000.00 per year
