Job description
The Role: we are recruiting to a number of accounting assistants and you will have the remit to provide a comprehensive, professional financial management service in support of financial planning, management accounting and reporting to designated functions across the University’s operations, including Faculties, Professional Services, and the Belfast Region City Deal Programme. The scope of this role will be varied and involve support for all aspects of University operations.
The Person: You will have gained an Accounting technician qualification (or equivalent) or have a BTEC HNC qualification (as a minimum). You will also have gained significant relevant experience in an accounting/finance environment that includes working with large and complex accounting/ management information systems, preparing financial management information, financial analysis/reconciliations and providing advice to inform decision making.
