Adult Learning North Yorkshire are looking to recruit a pool of sessional teachers who we can call on to deliver a variety of classes to inspire and enthuse our learners.
We are looking for teachers of Cookery, Arts, Employability, Languages, Maths, English, ESOL, Beginners ICT, Creative crafts, Knitting, Crochet, Painting, Gardening, Singing, Food Hygiene, Family Learning, Wellbeing, Enterprise, Digital Arts, using social media and any other subject that you think would lend itself to adult education, particularly learners aged 19-25 years of age.
The successful candidate will be:
- An excellent practitioner, able to enthuse, motivate and inspire adult learners to engage and achieve, aiding them to reach their full potential and goals.
- A driven professional with flair, initiative, and integrity
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a team providing a high-quality learning experience
You will need a flexible approach to programme delivery, which includes daytime, evenings, and weekends.
We are looking for teaches to work across North Yorkshire, but specifically in Skipton, Selby and Northallerton.
We are looking for applications from fully-qualified and experienced teacher to deliver both accredited and non-accredited courses who have experience of teaching to adults at all levels, (or willing to learn) be occupationally competent and hold a relevant teaching qualification.
You will be responsible for assessing and monitoring learning and progress throughout the programmes.
This post is to join our teaching pool and will be called on as and when required.
