The roleThis role is a great opportunity to form part of the Governance, Corporate Information and Assurance Branch Team. You will be required to provide project support and advice and develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders and networks. You will contribute to project scheduling, reporting and delivery. You will undertake administrative tasks as required, and actively seek opportunities for ongoing process improvement and red tape reduction. Other duties will include the coordination of committee and working group arrangements and associated tasks.

The successful personYou understand the principles and practices of project management. You also demonstrate ability to use Office software (Word, Excel., PowerPoint) and web-based databases, PowerBI, MS Teams suite, and Planner. You have proven ability to support the development and delivery of training packages. In addition, you have high level of communication and interpersonal skills to deal effectively with sensitive issues and people at all levels.

Corporate Services Division provides business, corporate and operational services to the Department of Health and, in certain circumstances, to the broader Queensland public health system (Queensland Health, comprising the department and 16 hospital and health services).

More broadly, the division is also responsible for leading system-wide industrial relations activities, major capital infrastructure delivery projects, certain human resources functions undertaken on a system-wide basis, and other corporate services functions.
