ROLE SUMMARY:
As part of our supportive and inclusive People Function, you will play a key part in driving forward the Employee Relations strategy for the UK and Ireland business, focussing on a positive employee experience while building capability and managing commercial risk.
In this role you will be responsible for providing complex technical ER advice & guidance to our people leaders and colleagues on a wide variety of employment related issues on both case management activity and projects, ensuring that our standards for quality and timeliness are met.
As a key partner, you will develop trusted relationships and collaborate to find solutions to complex problems. Reporting to our ER Director (UK & Ire), you will be an experienced technical escalation point for our ER Advisors.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
Supporting on mid-complex level ER queries, advising on the end-to-end process for allocated ER cases, focussing on grievances, disciplinaries and long-term absence management.
Assisting with any review of policy as appropriate.
Providing expertise on the management of exits, including Reduction in Force activity.
Advising managers on policy in line with current legislation and drive consistent application of policy and procedure, escalating issues as appropriate.
Championing areas of expertise, keeping wider HR team up to date with changes in best practice, statutory changes and process improvement
YOU’LL BRING:
The ability to advise, coach and upskill our People Leaders as you take them through ER issues.
A collaborative approach to delivering shared success, both when working within our own team and with our wider partners.

ER Advisory experience, a good working knowledge of theory, legislation and best practice, with an understanding of HR systems.
Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills.
