Job Description:

We are looking for motivated and qualified graduate students with
experience in software development, Python, Javascript, databases
(SQL), data engineering and web management to join the Office of
Research Affairs at the College of Medicine at the University of
Florida. Our group works on a wide range of topics information and
data we are looking to develop a secure data pipeline for research
resources available.

The role would work with various data frameworks and protocols to
develop and maintain tools, data or pipelines to collect, process
and unify the data into a consumable web deliverable under a secure
portal.

Expected Salary:

$15.00 – $20.00 hourly

Minimum Requirements:

This is an OPS position (hourly pay). A minimum commitment is till
summer 2023.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Enrolled in or completed a master’s in computer &
  Information Science & Engineering, Electrical and Computer
  Engineering (or a related field).
• Experience in data processing/array manipulation SQL,
  Excel
• Experience in software development Python, api,
  JavaScript.
• Experience with web development, Shibboleth security
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Willingness to learn new skills as projects require.
