Agnico Eagle is always looking for new talented team members to join our Nunavut mining operations. Meliadine is located just northwest of Rankin Inlet, a small coastal town on the shores of Hudson Bay. Commercial production began at Meliadine in mid-May 2019 and the mine officially opened at the end of June. This mine is our largest gold deposit in terms of mineral resources and we expect to operate it for at least 14 years. The site features a power plant and processing facilities, as well as a complete camp complex.

Reporting to the Camp General Supervisor, the Front Desk – Quality Control Agent is part of the camp department and collaborates with other departments of the mine. She/He will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved, while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s culture, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

TASKS:

• Check-in and check-out for employees;
• Plane seats and room assignment;
• Print reports and keep tracking tools updated;
• Communicate changes in a timely manner to housekeeping leader;
• Manage the room allocation;
• Address guest complaints and provide high quality customer service;
• Manage ground transportation;
• Perform rooms and main camp inspections and take the corrective actions required
• Audits on employees’ work cards and regulatory wearing of PPE;
• Communicate to guest any transportation information;
• Provide support to the Camp Services Agents and the Contractor administrative assistants if required;
• Any other administrative tasks.

• 3 years of experiences in a similar role or in administration duties is considered as an asset;
• Excellent communication skills and a professional communications etiquette (oral and written);
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate in a professional manner;
• Excellent knowledge of the technology usage of telephone and computer (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet, FLO and JDE);
• Ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision;
• Experience working in a multicultural environment;
• Ability to work in a team.
