Outokumpu Stainless Steel is looking for a Controller – Procurement to join our Finance Team base in Calvert, Alabama

This role is responsible for supporting General Procurement team and sourcing in reviews and assessment of efficiencies within business, identifying opportunities and providing recommendations for spend and inventory reductions. Partner with process owners to develop/track financial metrics and validate assumptions for productivity to ensure tangible savings are delivered to the P&L

Accountabilities:

• Extract data from all ERP systems (PO, Contract etc.), perform analysis, data modelling and develop effective reporting to support Procurement teams
• Work with Procurement team to analyze and define a monthly financial forecast, lead the creation of models to forecast trends and study procurement key performance indicators.
• Monitor all transactional procurement processes, evaluation, contracting, and contract management, payment conditions, contractors, performance evaluation.
• Monitor and document procurement results; develop and perform effective reporting, track total cost of ownership (TCO) and savings in WAVE
• Collaborate with other areas to ensure that the appropriate data is available for monthly accruals and reporting
• Provide market intelligence globally/across BAs; interact with management on market trends to propose strategies
• Support annual budget process of General Procurement cost
• Provide support, evaluation, reporting and advice on different opportunities in regards to the Matched Pairs Concept

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master´s degree in accounting or finance
• 5 + years of experience in Finance/Accounting and evidence of analytical mindset preferred
• Advanced proficiency using in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, SAP ERP and SAP Business Warehouse
• Strong business acumen-interpersonal-communication skills
