The Silk Road Spice Merchant Hiring for Customer Service at Edmonton, AB Full Time

The Silk Road Spice Merchant is an Alberta-based company that specializes in herbs and spices from around the world. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, professional, and positive person for our store on Whyte Ave. in Edmonton.

We are hiring 1 part-time person to work Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm.

You will:

· provide stellar customer service by chatting with customers about food, talking about our products, making recommendations, etc.

· learn all about our spices and blends (don’t worry – we’ll train you)

· have some production and restocking duties in addition to customer service

You have:

· exceptional customer service and people skills

· the capacity to work unsupervised and take responsibility for your productivity

· a good knowledge of food and cooking with a passion for furthering that knowledge

· the ability to regularly and safely lift and carry items weighing up to 40 pounds

· excellent attention to detail and a positive attitude
