The Brand & Content Specialist helps bring the 1-800-GOT-JUNK? brand to life through our Brand Strategy, Marketing Plan and Content Plan. They execute on these business strategies and plans by playing a crucial role in increasing the awareness of 1-800-GOT-JUNK?, driving customers to our website and encouraging them to convert through unique, and engaging content. They activate on, own and/or support the content channels (Social Media, Public Relations and Blog) and enable all the marketing department by providing the team with the content and assets they require to achieve their goals.
The Brand & Content Specialist understands our customers’ needs and how the marketing funnel works, what 1-800-GOT-JUNK?’s business goals & objectives are and can make recommendations on which content will drive towards achieving content, marketing and organization wide goals.

A Day in the Life:
As the Brand & Content Specialist, you will wear many hats your responsibilities would include:
- Being a key contributor to our Content Editorial Calendar including participating in brainstorms, building monthly calendars, creating content & analyzing results
- Be the Single Point of Accountability (SPA) for multiple projects including brand & cross-departmental campaigns
- Support our influencer marketing and sponsorship program
- Maintain the integrity of our Franchise Partner resources including Public Relations, Product Placement, Sponsorship and Social Media Toolkits
- Support our social media team by developing & creating content
- Write and submit internal marketing communications to our Franchise Partner Community
- Playing a crucial role in supporting our mass media production including radio and television
What You Bring to the Table:
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Campaign management
- Experience with media monitoring platforms
- Experience with Social Media Platforms (ie. Sprout Social, Social Studio, Hootsuite)
- Comfortable with analyzing and reporting on results (experience in Tableau a bonus)
- Copywriting experience in social media, internal & external communications, press releases & pitching
- Customer service skills
- Excellent performance problem solving and demonstrated critical thinking
- Excellent communication skills
