The Opportunity
As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for Software development , maintenance and support for various John Deere Financial systems
- Software development, maintenance and control of John Deere Finance’s user applications
- Test system integrity, analyse data, extract and validate data, problem solves errors and document results.
- Provide second level software support for JDF applications.
Required Skills, Experiences and Competencies
To be successful in this position, you will have:
- Software programming skills necessary to create and maintain host based and/or web based applications.
- Previous experience in programming/software development. (1 – 3 years)
- Knowledge of Java /J2EE/ React/ Node/ AWS
- Ability to analyse, translate, and refine business requirements into technical solutions.
- Problem solving skills, learning agility and analytical skills.
What Makes You Stand Out
- Understanding of applications development environment, database, data management and infrastructure capabilities and constraints.
- Understanding of working in an Agile/Scrum team environment
- Understanding leveraging ITIL, LSM and/or DevOps principles and methodology.
- Understanding of various security frameworks and fundamentals
- Understanding of API development fundamentals
