About the role
We are looking to employ a HR Manager with outstanding administration and communications skills. You will be expected to be a conceptual thinker with superb organisational skills and time management skills. You must be reliable and accurately follow instructions with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
To be successful, we are looking for remarkable conflict management and decision-making skills with a solid understanding of employee relationships, staffing, management and benefits administration.
Duties will be varied, and you will assist and support the Management Team with offering a HR service to the business.
We’ll give you the best start in your role, we will show you the Sonex way. This includes up to 6-weeks training and coaching to get you started and provide you with everything you need to succeed.
You will be CIPD Level 3 qualified or working towards this qualification.
Our perfect candidate is
· Manage/support all aspects of HR including staff selection, recruitment, employment, leavers etc…
· Able to demonstrate strong communication skills and an excellent telephone manner
· Reliable, trustworthy, discreet, and professional
· An active listener who pays close attention to detail
· Prepare all staff contracts, job descriptions, HR policies and forms
· Have the ability to build and maintain excellent and credible relationships with managers and employees
· Support with Learning & Development of staff
· Assist with the induction programmes for all new starters
· Support Team Leaders/Managers with all aspects of appraisals/investigation/disciplinary meetings
· Liaise with our external legal advisers as and when required
· Other tasks and responsibilities as required
· Self-motivated, with an enthusiasm to learn, develop and grow
· Able to work independently as well as part of a team
· Working experience of Microsoft Office / 365
· Previous HR experience is essential
· CIPD Level 3 qualified or working towards
