Manager, Building Connectivity & Customer Success

The Manager, Building Connectivity & Customer Success, will be hired as a full-time employee at Andorix and will be fully deployed to QuadReal to modernize and optimize the future of digital infrastructure at our properties with a lens to a sustainable future.

The role will manage projects, design, price solutions, and interact with a variety of contractors, technology partners and Androix/QuadReal team. The role will also be responsible for supporting partnerships with the national telco carriers to ensure reliable and robust data & mobile connectivity in all buildings and ensuring the effective deployment of 5G supporting technologies. Providing technical and project support to the QuadReal Office, Industrial, Retail, and Residential management teams, as well as new development project teams, will be key to overall success. The Manager, Building Connectivity & Customer Success will report within QuadReal to the National Manager, Building Connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Manage roll-out and on-going support of building connectivity infrastructure – including Passive Optical Networks (PON), Wi-Fi, IoT, and neutral host fiber / telco installations (including wireline, wireless, DAS and 5G)

• Oversee building connectivity designs – both new and move / adds / changes / deletes (MACD) as the buildings introduce new projects, systems, and retrofits that require connectivity

• Assist Andorix with the creation and delivery of pricing and proposals to QuadReal stakeholders,

• Oversee QuadReal building connectivity deployments – both physical and network configuration requirements

• Align with existing property teams and new development teams to ensure consistency in connectivity design & deployment, in accordance with QuadReal Digital Building Playbook & Andorix requirements

• Support Andorix with building connectivity on-going monitoring and maintenance

• Support Andorix on delivery of tenant connectivity, digital amenities, integration and other services, as connections to building network infrastructure & services are required

• Support National Manager & Andorix on the development of a building connectivity network operations platform – providing visibility to all connectivity elements across the portfolio of buildings

• Collaborate with IT to ensure all network security measures are in place for secure and resilient building connectivity environments

• Support the Building Cyber Protection program, securing building networks, building systems and IoT devices

• Support National Manager on telco projects and installations (wireline, wireless, DAS, 5G) to ensure they are executed in accordance to QuadReal standards for both existing buildings and new developments

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

• Experience in technology & systems deployment in new construction and existing built environments

• Information Technology (IT) & Operational Technology (OT) networking experience

• Industry related experience in IT networking for building environments: IP, Layer 2, Layer 3, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, etc.

• Experience with Passive Optical Networks (PON)

• Familiarity cyber and network security

• Familiarity with the range of building systems (Building Automation, Lighting, Security etc.) with respect to their connectivity and functional requirements

• Understanding of network operating systems

• Commissioning, troubleshooting and technical support experience

• Experience with managed services vendors, communication contractors, network operations centre management

• Experience in network deployment in construction environments
