Frigate Adventure Travel Hiring for Chef at King Salmon, Alaska Full Time

We are a dedicated and small high-end fishing lodge located in King Salmon Alaska. Currently, we are seeking a dedicated co-chef that wants to further their skills and work within a cohesive team. The co-chef works directly with the Head chef in prepping and executing daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner for 8 guests, and 4 guides. Also in maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment, as well as being a positive team member.

We have a small and dedicated crew with 4 fishing guides, 1 lodge maintenance person, and 1 bush pilot. The days are early and run later in the evening so a good work ethic is required. Our chef is sourcing and preparing a 4-course meal every night from scratch. A list of things we try to practice but that we are not limited to is baking bread, and making all sauces, vinaigrettes, and components for a fine dining experience.

We maintain a fun and inspiring work environment while staying professional with our guests. Experience is a must with cooking, one must be able to manage time and be self-sufficient.
