Who You Are:

You have deep knowledge of the US and global market and are a skilled Italian speaker.

What You’ll Do:

Product Development:

• Partner with Licensee to concept & build fragrance strategies that will achieve the brand’s growth objectives and market share
• Lead the briefing process to kick-off fragrance program development
• Manage the product development calendar with licensee, coordinate all internal meetings, driving deadlines and product launch deliverables
• Manage day-to-day communication/development with all cross functional teams including Creative, Marketing & PR, Visual Merchandising, Store Design, Finance and Legal to ensure timetable/milestone adherence
• Assist in developing seasonal creative inspiration boards that align with brand creative strategy
• Lead GWP development process: past season hind-sighting, competitive reviews, briefing, design calendar, inspiration & material share, liaison with in-house accessories designers
• Be the MK expert on fragrance & beauty markets: shop market on a seasonal basis, understand trends, assess new product launches, and create competitive analyses to identify new opportunities
• Drive creation of internal presentations on the fragrance category

Marketing:

• Work with licensee and internal Marketing & Merchant partners to build robust 360 seasonal marketing plans for both Retail and Wholesale
• Work with licensee on execution of strong digital and in-store visual merchandising and storytelling
• Research new opportunities for fragrance to be continuously integrated into brand plans
• Manage fragrance photography needs and sample distribution for all internal shoots, PR, and other marketing needs
• Work closely with PR to provide them with all necessary information regarding new fragrance launches and suggesting/identifying appropriate items for select events, KOL outreach, etc.
• Monitor and track licensee A&P obligations

Sales and Distribution:

• Track, analyze & distribute weekly & monthly sales, NPD, forecasting and royalty reports
• Attend US market appointments and have regular communication with licensee to discuss sales performance, marketing and distribution opportunities globally
• Communicate internal distribution strategies to licensee and synergize with corporate initiatives
• Manage global shop-in-shop development, ensuring optimal locations with high traffic and visibility
• Approve global distribution of fragrance, maintaining alignment with internal distribution strategies
• Category key contact for global retail buying teams, collect & roll-up global retail forecasts
• Have an understanding for international market needs, trends, and distribution opportunities to grow the business globally

You’ll Need to Have:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ YEARS of experience in Brand Management or Brand Marketing, preferably within the prestige fragrance and beauty industry
• Knowledge of both the US and global markets
• English and Italian skills required
• Ability to work in NYC 3 days a week.
• Receipt of the COVID-19 vaccine is a requirement for this position, subject to applicable exemptions.

Compensation Range:

$90,000.00-$150,000.00
