Mid Yorkshire Hospitals is looking for motivated and enthusiastic band 7 Clinical Educator/ Development Midwife to join our Maternity team.

If you are an experienced Midwife with a special interest in clinical education, who would like to make a difference to our Maternity services, women and their families, then we would like to hear from you.

Approximately 5,900 women each year choose to birth at Mid-Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust. We provide antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care across the Wakefield district and North Kirklees. We offer four choices of place of birth: home, freestanding birth centre at Dewsbury District Hospital, alongside birth centre and consultant-led delivery suite in Wakefield.

At Mid Yorkshire hospitals we are continuing to implement the National maternity Transformation Programme alongside our colleagues in the local maternity System (LMS) the Maternity Voices Partnership (MVP) and other community partners.

The NHS plan also focuses on care quality and outcomes improvement which forms the drive for our local maternity service improvement strategy. We aim to build on the strengths we have already developed within our services
