Pulsar Informatics Inc Hiring for Senior Software Engineer (Go Backend) Job at Remote Full Time

We are seeking an experienced software engineer to contribute to the design and development of the backend services in our next-generation platform. This is a unique opportunity to join a small team and have a large impact on product success.

Pulsar Informatics provides real-time fatigue risk management tools to safety-centric and mission-critical workforces. We have pioneered research and development in fatigue risk assessment, supporting operational environments ranging from long haul trucking fleets to the International Space Station. We are building a team to scale our technology to address global markets across a range of industries.

Your role:

• Develop well-designed software components for our backend application and contribute to the design of APIs and system infrastructure
• Contribute to tooling and practices that enhance development team productivity and code quality
• Work with product managers, designers, front end developers and data scientists to test and deliver customer-facing features as part of product team
• Ensure high quality deliverables by maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated tests

Your skills and experience:

• Proven track record as a Software Engineer
• Proficiency designing data structures, data modeling and schema design, and API design
• Experience with relational databases
• Experience with elements in our technology stack (Svelte, Golang, PostgreSQL, GraphQL) is a plus, but experience with related technologies and a desire to learn can work for the right candidate
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics
• Experience with CI/CD design and development
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively

Pay: $120,000.00 – $160,000.00 per year
