Reporting to the Coordinator of Compliance and the Parking Call Center, the incumbent provides administrative support to the Coordinator. The position will source, collect data and create spreadsheets on several existing and future projects. The incumbent is also required to analyze and interpret the data and present improvement opportunities to the COE management team. This position may be required to make visits to different parking offices within the Edmonton area to provide training and support where required. Working with a wide range of parking operational programs, the incumbent must possess clear communication skills. This is a versatile and complex position requiring exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills as well as excellent time and project management skills. The incumbent will be working in a unique and, at times, highly emotional environment which requires a calm and patient demeanor. He/she will be in regular contact with a variety of staff and public. This position requires an individual with a strong but professional attitude.
As an Administrative Support IV, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.
Required Qualifications:
Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. course(s) in business administration, medical office assistant), or other related fields.

Significant customer service experience including contact in person, by telephone, and by email. Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal, is required. Active listening and interpretative skills are required. Must be willing to upgrade education in a changing environment. Must be able to work cooperatively with others. Must be physically able to carry out the duties of the position. Must be able to maintain composure and make decisions in stressful situations. Must be able to organize workloads using own initiative and judgment in performing duties with minimum to no supervision. Ability to type 55 wpm. Ability to maintain confidentiality of all documents and records. Problem-solving, conflict resolution and strong interpersonal skills as well as critical thinking required.
Preferred Qualifications:
5 – 7 years of office/clerical experience with an advanced level of knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. 1 year data analysis. 1 year experience in project support and administration.
